The dream started out with me being in the car with my dad. There was a massive music festival being arranged in the mall in my hometown during fall break. Me and my dad were heading there and noticed that there was no parking space left in the mall parking lot, so we headed into a nearby neighborhood to park and walked from there. Once we got to the mall, when heading inside, I was assigned a bodyguard to follow me around and protect me during the visit. My mom and sister also had tickets the festival and had traveled there together. My sister also got assigned a bodyguard upon entry. Inside, it was absolutely packed and the volume was deafening. Me and my dad walked around for a bit and ended up sitting down at a popup espresso bar close to a stage. We each got a coffee. The barista was incredibly friendly and he flirted with me. The artist on the nearby stage finished her set and afterwards she came to the espresso bar and sat down next to me. We talked for a bit and she also flirted with me. When she had left, me and my dad decided to split up as we wanted to see different things. I walked around the mall, checking out different stores which had all been turned to hangout spots for the festival. I chatted with a bunch of different people. I noticed an older lady walking around by herself seeming extremely confused. I was about to approach her to see if I could help out but one of my childhood classmates rushed to her aid before I had the chance, so I continued socializing. The socializing frequently turned into quite risqué flirtation with different strangers. It was that kind of vibe. The hours passed and soon it was past one pm. At some point I ran into my friend and we stuck together. I was starting to get tired of the festival and the stores were closing in an hour so I decided to round off my experience. At this point I saw the confused old woman again. I notified my friend and my bodyguard and we decided that they would go up to her and help her out. She was wearing handcuffs. While they were helping her out, I hung around and laid down on an air mattress that had been placed in the walkway. The artist from the espresso bar saw me and laid down next to me so we were facing each other. I got flustered and I placed my arm around her or something like that and I managed to tell her that she’s incredibly beautiful. She told me that I’m just as beautiful. She had to get going but told me she wanted to see me again. I got up from the air mattress and my friend came back. He told me that the bodyguard was helping the old woman still. They’d figured out she had dementia and was looking for her husband. But since we were heading out anyway the bodyguard no longer needed to come with us. So we headed for the exit. We suddenly started getting told that we needed to leave now. People were rushing for the exit. I didn’t understand why at first. We made it outside and found out that a fire had broken out on the opposite side of the mall. Outside I saw my mom and sister as well as my sister’s bodyguard. But I didn’t see my dad or my bodyguard. Me, my friend, my mom, my sister, and her bodyguard gathered and I wanted to call my dad. My sister told me that she thought he had left earlier. I still wanted to check, my mom and sister found it unnecessary but I insisted. I struggled to navigate my phone but managed to call him. He didn’t pick up. I tried a few more times to no avail. At last I attempted to call his wife, she picked up but was super mysterious and initially refused to give me a straight answer on whether she was with him or not. When I told her about the fire she yielded and confirmed they were visiting her parents together. The group decided we should gather at a different location further from the mall. We settled on my childhood home, where my dad still lives. We had to split up to two cars. My mom and sister went in my mom’s car and the bodyguard, me, and my friend went in the bodyguard’s car. As we drove, it became apparent that the zombie apocalypse had been going on for months. We couldn’t drive the final stretch and had to traverse by foot. The bodyguard offered to carry me as I was so frightened I couldn’t make my legs work properly. I was on his back and he shot zombies. My mom and sister were already used to navigate this, but it was completely new to me and my friend went. A few more people joined our group as it was safer to travel in larger numbers. We made our way forward, the bodyguard shooting any zombies that got too close. Apparently they had very poor senses so you could walk by them at a distance quite safely. We made it to a tunnel we had to enter. At this point I got off the bodyguard and walked on my own. From the tunnel, we entered a room that was well lit and decorated in a tivoli theme. In this room we had to complete a challenge in order to go forward. We completed the challenge and entered the next room, which was decorated in the same manner. In this room, there were 12 dolls lined up. They started singing and everyone except me and my friend seemed prepared for this and sung along. Me and my friend joined in as well as we could. We seemed to pass, and the door to move forward opened. We entered what seemed to be a messy basement. There was stuff in piles everywhere, making it difficult to navigate. I made a comment like ”whose house is this” and someone from in front of us answered ”it’s mine” it was my bodyguard from the mall. He revealed himself and explained that he was a collector and that he had an exquisite collection of genitals to eat. It was clear that this meant dismembering and cannibalism. He further explained that most of the group deserved a second chance and that he was generous, so he would give them that. He got his little helpers, which were all children, to usher everyone but my and my friend onto an elevator. He told us that me and my friend had done such a poor job singing along with the dolls that we were beyond saving. He sent the elevator to an unknown floor, and then said he would be back for me and my friend and walked upstairs. Me and my friend embraced each other and it felt very good to be close to him. I just wanted to continue being near him, in his arms, for the rest of time. I realized I had developed feelings for him and I could tell he felt the same way. But we couldn’t stay like that if we wanted to survive. We tricked the children guarding us, and sneaked upstairs, to the ground floor. On this floor, we could see outside from the windows. But it was still messy, and the piles of things were blocking the door. We had no chance to remove enough without being seen. We panicked and tried to hide. Luckily enough, someone else, an accomplice, entered the house through the door which not only pushed the things out of the way, but they also left the door open. Me and my friend threw ourselves at the door and just managed to escape. Outside, there were two cars filled with survival supplies. And my sister’s bodyguard was just closing the trunk of one of them. Without thinking I rushed to throw myself in the passenger seat of one of them. My friend first went to talk to the bodyguard and then sat down in the drivers seat in the car I was in. He started the car and started driving, explaining that we were heading to the bodyguard’s countryside cottage. The bodyguard had managed to escape earlier and had prepared the supplies in the cars. My friend had received the directions. I watched the ruined landscapes of my hometown pass by. We felt safe from the zombies in the car. After a long time driving, we made it to some kind of large concrete building that we could drive inside. There was a short line to a gate. There was a guard controlling the gate, he continued to open in and slam it shut and the cars could either turn around or attempt to drive through in the open intervals, risking getting crushed. The reasoning for this was that only the ones daring enough were allowed in the safety of the bunker. We decided to risk it. We made it through but the trunk of our car got slightly crushed and damaged. We got to park the car and got out. The flooring was all red carpet. We found out the bunker was actually a large casino but we didn’t want to gamble. The staff was kind of hesitant on delivering something that the owner had apparently promised he bodyguard. In the casino me and my friend held hands while figuring out the next step and we got to embrace once more.
